Even today, eating well and feeling cared for are not taken for granted. Some people skip meals. Others have no one to share them with. And for many, just eating is no longer a pleasure, but a daily preoccupation. Les Petites Cantines are participative neighborhood restaurants, where we cook together, eat together, and above all... get together. Everyone is welcome, whatever their age, background or situation. And because the price is free, no one is prevented from coming - not only to eat well, but also to forge links. By 2024, 42 canteens had been opened, in assembly or accompanied, throughout France. Behind every meal, there's a happy table, seasonal produce, shared recipes... and that simple - but precious - feeling of being well, together.

Solution
What we're creating with Les Petites Cantines isn't just another way of eating.
It's a way of refounding society, on a neighborhood scale, through something universal and deeply human: the meal.
A meal prepared by many, shared between generations and between people who might never have crossed paths elsewhere.
.
A meal that brings people together, that soothes, and that remains accessible to all - whatever their situation.

Use of the money
At Les Petites Cantines, the price is free: some give more, others a little less, and this allows us to open the door to everyone.
€3.50* is the average cost of food for a quality meal: gourmet, local, seasonal, often organic.
With €20*, you contribute to 6 meals.
With €100*, to 30 meals.
And with €10,000*, you make it possible to serve 3,000 shared meals in our canteens.
Our goal: 100,000 guests by 2030 - and as many encounters around a good table.
* Data provided as an example. Funds entrusted to the association are used according to the organization's priority needs.

The welcome is very warm with a smile. They call us by our first names. We come out of anonymity.
