Empowerment through speaking out

The project

EducationEquality
Dialogue and learning to listen to one another in a multi-voiced, mixed-race country is central to building society. Yet 3 out of 4 young people have difficulty speaking, and the public arena seems too confrontational: 68% find media debates aggressive. We believe that living together requires the ability to express oneself and to listen, skills that need to be developed from an early age.

Solution

To meet this challenge, Eloquentia works for equal opportunity by making speech a real lever for academic, personal and professional fulfillment. Its action is based on two complementary missions: training young people to speak out and offering them spaces for expression through its speaking competitions.

Use of the money

By making a donation, you contribute directly to the implementation of workshops in classes from CM1 to terminale and with specific audiences, as well as to the training of young people in preparation for our international competition, now the world's largest public speaking contest. You'll also be supporting our advocacy of the cause of oral expression, and helping to build a society that values dialogue and listening over clash.
Today, when I speak, I want to be an example for young girls in the suburbs. Thanks to Eloquentia, I've gained confidence. Speaking out breaks down clichés and shows that everyone has their place: no codes, just trust.
