Recycling hygiene products for the underprivileged

UNISOAP continues its mission: to recycle used hotel soaps, giving the most disadvantaged access to hygiene. To do this, they need to find every hotel in France that offers solid soap, before they go to waste! 🤝 What better way than to mobilize hotel guests, who are increasingly willing to act on their own? Operation SOS SAVON is launched: every time a member stays at a hotel, their mission is to go and see if there's a solid soap in the bathroom. And if there is, simply: 1. Take a photo of the soap.2. Send it to the association on WhatsApp.3. Add the name of the hotel. 👉 And it's in the box! The UNISOAP team takes over to contact the hotel and set up a recycling partnership. There are 17,000 hotels in France. And 500 UNISOAP partners so far, so this action makes perfect sense! More than 30 people have already joined the WhatsApp group. Last November, UNISOAP joined forces with two choice partners for a special operation: 🏨 The Four Seasons Hotel George V, a partner hotel that collects its soaps 🩵 Les Restos du Coeur, one of our historic partner associations The result? 400 hygiene kits made up and distributed to people in need! A meaningful action, demonstrating once again all we're capable of when players from different backgrounds unite for the common good 🎊 And we're happy and proud to see that our partner hotels are committed beyond recycling their soaps. It was a pleasure to set up this distribution with Restos du Coeur, to discover the behind-the-scenes making of the pouches and kits at our partner ESATs (Lafon de l'ALGED and Ateliers Denis-Cordonnier) and to get out into the field with the employees of the George V hotel.
