The project

ChildhoodHealth

ACTION ENFANCE's mission is to provide long-term protection and education for children at risk, from infancy to adulthood. It welcomes them, brothers and sisters together, into Children's and Adolescents' Villages, in a stable, protective environment. The Foundation provides them with a sense of direction and balance, to help them develop into autonomous, responsible adults, capable of finding their place in society.

Solution

Since October 2022, the ACTION ENFANCE Foundation has set up the AGILE scheme: a scheme that enables the children and young people welcomed into our Villages who present a malaise(dropping out of school, risky behavior, acting out, loss of motivation or self-confidence, etc.) to take a step back from their situation and refocus.

Concretely, 3 young people and 2 family educators, specially recruited for the scheme, set off for 8 days across the French territories to leave their daily lives behind and recharge their batteries.

The aim of this project is to create calming spaces outside the Villages, conducive to encounters with people outside the placement framework, and to unprecedented moments of sharing.

Use of the money

This scheme is 100% funded by the generosity of our donors.

Each stay costs around €4,000 per child.

Your donations will be used to fund:

- staff premises,

- related administrative costs,

- travel and food during stays.
