Let's nurture the talents of rural youth!
The project
EducationEquality
In 2017, Excellence Ruralités opened its pilot school, Cours Clovis, in La Fère (Aisne), in response to a stark observation: in rural areas, too many children face significant educational difficulties. In the absence of appropriate resources and priority education schemes, many of them are dropping out of school, in a climate of almost general indifference. Over and above failure at school, this threatens the social fabric and vitality of our rural areas.

Solution
Excellence Ruralités is developing a network of secular primary-college schools in disadvantaged rural areas that are hardest hit by young people dropping out. With no selection at entry and at a cost accessible to every family, we welcome all children in the area to offer them a demanding and caring education, (small numbers, explicit pedagogy, personalized follow-up, etc.) and thus give them every means to fulfill themselves.
Use of the money
Your support directly finances our students' schooling. We have chosen to remain accessible to all families in the territories where we operate. As a result, their contribution to the actual cost of schooling represents, on average, only 5% (i.e. around €42 per month per student).
Without the support of patrons and individual donors, these children would not be able to study in a setting that really helps them progress.

"Léona was bullied at her old school. That's why she couldn't succeed. Today, I have my daughter back. My daughter who smiles when she comes home and tells us what happened at school. She's opened up to others.
