Helping vulnerable young people become self-sufficient

Our teams recently had the pleasure of visiting the Val-de-Marne Departmental Council to formalize a new stage in our collaboration through the signing of a partnership agreement. This moment marks an important step forward and testifies to the trust placed in our actions on behalf of young people. 🤝 The meeting was also an opportunity to listen to the inspiring testimony of Matthieu and Ambre, a pair from the Côte à Côte program, who sincerely shared their experience with the association and the impact of this support on their journey. We look forward to continuing to strengthen our collaborations with the départements where we operate, so that we can prevent disruptions in pathways in a systemic way and accompany ever more young people towards autonomy and 💪

For many, summer rhymes with vacation, travel and carefree living. But for many of the young people we accompany, this period can, on the contrary, reinforce a feeling of isolation. Once the school year is over and activities or projects put on pause, the days can seem long, empty, and sometimes difficult to get through. Breaking isolation through collective action At Chapitre 2, we're convinced that summer should remain a time of discovery, connection and pleasure, including - and especially - for those who don't have the opportunity to get away. That's why we've come up with a program of free summer activities, open to all young people, whether they're accompanied by the association or simply curious to discover us. Over the past two months, we've therefore organized around 30 activities for young people, in Paris and Marseille, with nearly 300 iscrits on the counter! From canoeing activities to visits to historic sites and large-scale Olympics, we've offered moments designed to let off steam, have fun, meet other young people and regain confidence in the collective. These outings have enabled many young people who didn't yet know us to discover the essence of the Côte à Côte program: caring, meeting and sharing... and to make them want to join the Côte à Côte program for this new school year. 🤸♂️
