The project

EducationYouth
Make the vacations a useful time to combat the educational inequalities that affect young people in priority neighborhoods. While having fun, of course!
52
of French people have given up on taking their children on summer vacations for financial reasons (IFOP 2023 survey - UNAT, Alliance France Tourisme, Fondation Jean-Jaurès)
25
of young people do not obtain a diploma
60
of schoolchildren in QPV come from disadvantaged backgrounds

Solution

Created by Yannick Noah, Fête le Mur acts to promote equal opportunities for young people by using tennis as a powerful lever for education and inclusion.

And with Vacances Educ'Actives, learning becomes fun!

Every vacation, young people aged 6 to 18 take part in courses that combine sports practice, academic support and cultural outings.

The child is considered as a whole, body and mind, and is invited to learn in a variety of ways: visual representations, songs, educational sports games...
A new way of acquiring knowledge that's fun and adapted to each child, and restores the taste for learning!

The money will be used for

Donations finance access to Vacances Educ'Actives for over 5,500 children, including:
- salaries for educators and supervisors,
- sports and educational equipment,
- buses for cultural outings...

I've been lucky enough to get out on the pitch and see the youngsters, the instructors and the children develop, and you can see how much they're progressing, how much they can find their way through tennis.
