Educating vulnerable children in India
The project
ChildhoodEducation
The TARA Outreach Centers are day-care centers located in Delhi, based on a preventive approach to child protection. By working closely with families, facilitating access to care and supporting social and educational initiatives, they strengthen the resilience of communities. They offer vulnerable children a safe space in which to learn and grow. The success of the Saidulajab center has led to the opening of a second center in Sanjay Colony.

Solution
The TARA Outreach Centres offer comprehensive, community-based support to vulnerable communities in Saidulajab and Sanjay Colony. They offer daily educational activities, individualized follow-up, psychosocial support and action with families. By identifying at-risk situations at an early stage, they create a protective framework that promotes stability, schooling and development for children, while strengthening the capacities of families.
Use of the money
Your donations directly support the children at the Saidulajab and Sanjay Colony day-care centers. They finance rent, teachers' and social workers' salaries, the purchase of educational materials (books, supplies, games), as well as the organization of activities, outings and cultural visits. Thanks to your support, these children benefit from a safe space to learn, grow and build a more stable future with their families.

People think of TARA as an NGO, but for me it was my home...and for that, I'll always be grateful!
