ViensVoirMonTaf is "the network for young people without a network". The team enables 3rd graders from schools in priority education zones (REP/+) or priority urban neighborhoods (QPV) to access quality 3rd grade internships that they wouldn't have had access to on their own. Here are just a few examples: a 5-day immersion internship at Hermès, Google, Havas, BNP Paribas, Vinci, Guerlain or AstraZeneca. And all with caring tutors who welcome them with a smile and support them throughout the week, and sometimes even years later.

Solution
The 3rd grade internship is compulsory and graded. However, students are far from equal when it comes to this internship! For students with no network, the famous "kebab internship" is often the only option. At just 14 or 15, this is their first encounter with social injustice. Students from disadvantaged backgrounds often feel that, even for a 5-day, unpaid internship, "we don't want them".

Every year, the ViensVoirMonTaf team puts on thousands of hours of in-class workshops to give students the keys to the business world that opens doors for them. Over 6,000 students are supported each year, out of 130,000 students enrolled in 3rd grade in REP/REP+ middle schools.

The year 2024 ended on a high note, with 1,015 internships completed!
Dear difteurs,
We've passed the mark of 1000 internships completed, which makes us proud and makes us want to continue this fight.
For yes, it is a fight! That of thwarting social determinism, of convincing people of the relevance of welcoming students from working-class neighborhoods as a priority, and of advocating equal opportunities whatever the cost.
Every year, we try to find ever more quality internships for our students, more and more of whom are registering on our platform. This year ends with an intense period of internships in Marseille, Lyon, Grenoble and Ile-de-France.
The feedback is heartwarming, and confirms to us that our raison d'être is far from being in vain, but helps many young people from priority neighborhoods to fulfill their dreams, find choice internships, and sometimes reveal a direction or career choice.

This year, ViensVoirMonTaf broke all records!
In 2023-2024, 7,358 students were supported by the association! And we don't intend to stop there.
Convinced of the importance of offering the best internship conditions to ninth graders from priority education, our association is redoubling its efforts to find ever more quality internships and committed companies."
The proof? Great internships that you help to finance, and numerous testimonials. One of which has exceeded our dreams, too, as VVMT has been the subject of a 30-minute film on Arte, highlighting all the issues we've been trying to bring to the attention of tutors, partners, funders and public authorities, with determination, for nearly ten years.
You remember such an internship for the rest of your life," says 14-year-old Nayé to the camera, recalling her time at France Inter, where she practiced writing a radio piece on handball, her favorite sport.
Director Chiara Sambuchi witnessed her metamorphosis during the shoot. "I saw a fascinating increase in her self-confidence between our first exchanges and the way she presented her internship during the oral exam at the college". Merouane's experience is just as enriching during her internship at Hermès. To watch in replay, emotional sequence guaranteed!

Why we love it?
The 3rd grade internship is a young person's first contact with the world of work: it can therefore have a decisive impact on the way it is conceived. Students in priority education areas are at a disadvantage when it comes to accessing inspiring internships: Viens Voir Mon Taf aims to overcome this inequality by offering them internships that might interest them, especially in "green" sectors, to instill in them as early as possible the desire to make a positive impact in their profession.
By opening up horizons and shattering glass ceilings, we enable these children to break down self-censorship and dream higher and further!
