Solution

Excision, parlons-en ! offers a comprehensive, networked approach that combines prevention, awareness-raising and support. The association organizes actions in schools and for the general public, trains professionals, and creates circles of words for women. This strategy aims to prevent mutilation, protect rights and promote health and dignity for women and girls.

Use of the money

"I'd come in at 16 to be prescribed the contraceptive pill and they talk to me about excision, without explaining what it is. I didn't even think about it when I got home. My mother told me it was like that, that they'd all been."
