Improving the health of Sobia residents

The project

HealthInternational aid
The inhabitants of this remote rainforest region don't go to the hospital. Cabs are too expensive, and the tracks are difficult and impassable, especially in the rainy season. The aim is to bring the hospital to them. With a fully-equipped facility and appropriate technical facilities, specialized doctors and surgeons will be able to operate on them on the spot. We're supporting a population, saving a territory.

per year, but infant mortality is too high. With the new center, help us save them.

Solution

In agreement with the local population, district hospital practitioners and the health authorities, the construction of an Improved Medical Center (CMA) has been decided. This new center, equipped with an operating theater, a delivery room, consultation, hospitalization, imaging and laboratory areas, as well as adapted sanitary facilities, will welcome everyone to receive appropriate care in good conditions.

Use of the money

Your donations will enable us to build the new building with its operating theatre, its delivery room, its different areas: consultation, hospitalization, sanitary facilities ...
Your donations will also enable us to equip the new premises: its laboratory, its imaging room ...
Finally your donations will enable us to send a container with all the material we have already collected.
