The free school that AMTM - Assistance Médicale Toit du Monde has been supporting since its creation (most schools in Nepal are fee-paying) has been open since 2001 and today welcomes 200 children aged 5 to 13. All come from Dolpo, an extremely poor region with no access to schooling.
The school's sanitary facilities had become totally unsanitary (see photo below), due in particular to the increase in the number of children.
While Snowland had just, thanks to a sponsor, completely renovated part of the sanitary facilities, the government has just imposed (finally) the separation of girls' and boys' sanitary facilities in Nepalese schools. But the Snowland school no longer has the means to finance further work to double them...
Solution
This funding will make it possible to build new sanitary facilities, fully equipped toilets and showers, for the 105 Snowland girls.
News
The money will be used for
Donations collected will be used to
