Solution

The listening chat solution seems best suited to address young women, who are over-represented among victims of domestic violence but who make very little use of existing support. The chat can act as a springboard between young people who use digital technology and existing support services.

The association's teams obviously respond to all those who feel the need to do so, but wish to focus their communication actions on this young audience considered to be "off the radar".

Our impact measurement!
Our impact measurement!
After a year of hard work, we're very proud to present the results of the first impact report on our support chat for victims of violence,  Commentonsaime.fr.
In collaboration with the firm Improve, experts in impact measurement, these figures shed essential light on how the chatCommentonsaime.fr constitutes an unprecedented tool for responding to the specific realities of violence and its consequences among young people.
This particular audience still finds it difficult to approach non-specialized field structures, and prefers the anonymity offered by the Internet.

On Tuesday September 24, we organized a event to present the main results of our impact measurement in front of our partners and the press at the Cité Audacieuse.
The results show that the Commentonsaime.fr chat has enabled listening to the written word to emerge, which constitutes a real paradigm shift in caring for victimized people by talking about love to put an end to violence. Trained psychosocial listeners listen, reassure, restore confidence in a caring, non-judgmental way.

This innovative approach makes it possible to rcapture the unheard voice of young people, women and LGBTQIA+ people, often considered 'off the radar' due to the difficulty of reaching them.
The visibility of these audiences makes the Commentonsaime.fr chat tool indispensable to take the first step towards leaving violence.

Ceci n'est pas un message d'amour, a new awareness campaign from En avant toute(s)
Ceci n'est pas un message d'amour, a new awareness campaign from En avant toute(s)
The association fighting for equality and an end to sexist and sexual violence En avant toute(s), has teamed up with production studio MenuXL to launch the campaign "Ceci n'est pas un message d'amour" directed by Edith Chapin and co-written with Morgane Ortin.

The subject is a vital one: young women are over-represented among victims of domestic violence. The phenomenon affects 1 in 7 young people, compared with 1 in 10 women of all ages (ENVEFF survey). "With pop culture, young people are imbued with the idea that love must be a crazy, almost destructive passion. This film denounces the romanticization of these mechanisms, particularly jealousy, which they will see as proof of love. It's vital to get this message across to them." Ynaée Benaben, director and co-founder of En avant toute(s).

The film encourages mobilization via an appeal for generosity on the En avant toute(s) website to fight for an end to domestic violence. Indeed, while it is vital to encourage victims of violence to speak out, this cannot happen without support for the structures that listen to and accompany them, as En avant toute(s) does via its Commentonsaime.fr chat.

Since the chat's creation, the association has recorded more than 19,900 chats and accompanies a growing number of minors reporting sexist and sexual and/or intra-family violence. Ynaée Benaben, director and co-founder of the association En avant toute(s), stresses the importance of awareness campaigns representing young women, asserting:"We know today that young women find it extremely difficult to find themselves in representations of women who are victims of domestic violence. It's essential to have campaigns that reflect them, so that they can identify with them, to stem the tide of this phenomenon, which still affects 1 in 7 young people under 25."

The money will be used for

To provide a professional, caring response over wide time slots to an often vulnerable public, the En avant toute(s) teams are salaried employees of the association. The funds raised will be used to pay the people who respond to victims every day, both for their response time (from 10am to 00am Monday to Thursday, and from 10am to 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays), and for their ongoing training time.
