Solution

An emblematic program, the Carillon is a local solidarity network between shopkeepers and residents that aims to improve the daily lives of homeless people and combat their isolation.
The goal? Restore the desire (and possibility) to "walk through the door"!

In practice:

The shops and places offer micro-services and everyday products and offer a warm welcome;The homeless people use these services and products and can get involved as volunteers (recruiting new shopkeepers, organizing events...) and regain a social link;Homeless people create a link by pre-paying for products on standby at merchants' and can participate in our actions as volunteers or not;
What is their role?
Identify needs, canvass businesses and raise awareness.Publicize the program (communication, window stickers, street meetings...) and identify partner associations to inform residents (with or without a home).Unite all these players by bringing the network to life through the organization of neighborhood events and holding their weekly landmarks (permanences de lien social).

The money will be used for

The difts received will fund:
The identification and prospecting of new businesses and venues to join the Carillon; The awareness and information to the identified venues about our actions and our scheme ; The monitoring and support of locations referenced; The measurement of our impact over the course of the year (number of visits, number of products consumed, number of services used...); Informing the people concerned about our scheme and our actions (marauding, presence within day centers...); Leading our community of volunteers with and without a home (85 in 2023 for Paris-Ile de France) through highlights and convivial moments co-organized on the principle of inclusive volunteering (doing with the people concerned and not "doing for").
