Including disabled children through sport

Today, the French national team kicks off the World Cup. We have our own big news: Les Enfants de la Balle is back! 🚀 After a season spent rethinking everything, the program is officially reopening and fully joining Positive Lab. We’re reopening our support programs to new families (and continuing with existing ones) with a new approach and a single guiding principle: the family—and above all, the child. ✨ Our goal: for every child to find their place in sports, at their own pace. 🌱 Quality, independence, personal growth. A little nod to Les Bleus today… but let’s remember: at Les Enfants de la Balle, it’s ALL sports, not just soccer! 🏀 🎾 🤸 🥊 Célia and Léo make up the new EDLB team, of course with the rest of the Positive Lab team backing them up on the bench! Moving, playing, laughing, progressing... Sport is fun, and that fun belongs to all children, whatever their needs or situation. We know: when you're the parent of a child with special needs or a disability pushing open the door of a sports club can seem like a mountain. The questions, the uncertainty of the welcome... The world of "ordinary" sport hasn't always been in the habit of reaching out. That's exactly why Les Enfants de la Balle exists: to be that link, that resource and that space where the family is not alone. After 5 years and a hundred families and clubs supported, the scheme is now entering a new phase. By joining the Positive Lab association, focused on children's healthy growth, the Enfants de la Balle project has overhauled its processes and way of working. The project's commitment is also reflected in the free training courses offered to clubs throughout the year, to help them learn how to welcome each child with kindness and competence on the pitch. In addition, Positive Lab offers "Mission Inclusion", a 100% playable training course to take personalized support a step further. The adventure continues, and it's being built with you!
