The project
BiodiversitySensibilization
Every year, the SPA takes in thousands of abandoned animals. This project aims to guarantee them a daily meal, adapted to their needs. Feeding a dog or cat gives them a chance to rebuild their lives, and ensures their well-being from their very first days in the shelter.
In 2024, over 43,700 animals were taken in by the 64 SPA shelters and homes. Each dog spends an average of 66 days there, and each cat 49 days: as many meals to offer them, every day.

The SPA is able to act effectively on behalf of animals thanks to a strong territorial base that enables it to be close to the ground. With 64 refuges and SPA homes, 29 pounds, 800 employees and 6,000 committed volunteers, it works daily for their protection and well-being throughout France.
Use of the money
Your donations will help fund:
-Kibble to feed animals taken in by shelters while they await adoption
-Paste, more palatable, for animals convalescing or undergoing medical treatment
-Treats, useful for the positive education of dogs and the socialization of fearful cats
-Food and treats for NACs, increasingly numerous in our shelters, which often lack stocks for the various species
