The project
EducationEquality
Through mini-enterprise projects, young people from La Réunion and Mayotte discover the world of business and work. With unemployment higher in the French Overseas Territories than in mainland France, EPA is keen to focus on areas where employability is limited (50%), combat school drop-out and help young girls break free from historically female professions, while at the same time ensuring that its actions are in line with local social and environmental issues.

Donations will enable us to develop and strengthen our actions: EPA Réunion wants to be able to get closer to young people with major educational and social difficulties, which requires more intensive follow-up during the course of projects as well as additional adaptation of educational programs. With youth unemployment particularly prevalent on Reunion Island and Mayotte,it's essential to help young people avoid losing their footing even before they enter the workforce.

You don't have to be a failure at school. Failure is often an open door to success, and the key is to remain confident in your abilities and your ideals.
