Solution

The mission of La Cravate Solidaire is first and foremost to enable people in precarious situations to succeed in their interviews under the best possible conditions. The association restores
confidence to those in need by enabling them to appropriate the codes of the company thanks to a concrete and innovative method.

Through these workshops, La Cravate Solidaire offers individual and benevolent accompaniment in preparation for the job interview.

These Ateliers Coup de Pouce, placed at the end of the insertion chain, consist of 4 stages:
1. Candidate intake
2. Image coaching and gift of a professional outfit
3. HR coaching and interview simulation
4. Professional photo session

10 years of La France s'engage: the story of a commitment to serving the general interest
10 years of La France s'engage: the story of a commitment to serving the general interest
Dear difteurs,

We had a hard time getting over it! 🤩
Ten years later, we celebrated the social innovation and solidarity boosted by La France s'Engage. The evening was an opportunity for us to look back at the road travelled by La Cravate Solidaire... a road we could never have traced without the support of this visionary program.

In 10 years and thanks to La France s'Engage, we can:
✔️ Be present in 14 cities in France,
✔️ Mobilize more than 2,000 passionate and committed volunteers,
✔️ Accompany 14,000 candidates each year towards a return to employment!

Today, La Cravate Solidaire is asserting itself as a key player in the last mile of the return to employment, providing jobseekers with much more than a professional outfit: renewed confidence, concrete tools and human accompaniment to get them through the final stretch to success. 💼✨

A huge thank you to François Hollande, President of the Foundation, to Damien Baldin, Enora Hamon, and to all the La France s'Engage teams for their unwavering vision, support and commitment. 🙏

Finally, well done to all the winners of this decade, especially those who, like us, work for inclusion and solidarity. Together, we continue to transform lives and build a more just and caring society.

A big thank you to you, dear difors, for your invaluable support and difts ✨
What does it mean to volunteer at La Cravate Solidaire?
What does it mean to volunteer at La Cravate Solidaire?
La Cravate Solidaire works for an inclusive world of work, accompanying candidates towards employment and raising recruiters' awareness of discrimination. It boosts candidates' self-esteem by donating professional outfits and by transmitting corporate codes.
Every day, its teams raise awareness and train recruiters directly in companies to eliminate prejudice and change professional practices.

We carried out an impact study in 2023 on a panel of 700 volunteers from the association.
As a matter of fact, La Cravate Solidaire aims to act as much with candidates as with recruiters:

  • ⅔ of our volunteers raise awareness of hiring discrimination among those around them
  • 40% live outside metropolitan areas, ensuring genuine coverage of the French territory
  • 50% of the association's volunteers discover volunteering with our association
  • 67% of volunteers are active compared with 30% in France, according to INSEE.

ACTING POSITIVELY WITH OUR VOLUNTEERS

  • 80% of HR coaches consider that they have improved their knowledge of the audiences they support
  • 53% consider that they have discovered new professions and sectors of activity
  • 90% of volunteers consider that the association's training is necessary to support the audiences

MAKING MENTALITIES EVOLVE

  • 73% of the association's volunteers feel they have changed the way they look at the people they support
  • 43% feel they have become more aware of discrimination in hiring
  • 47% of our volunteers buy more second-hand and 65% have limited their consumption
  • 65% feel more concerned by the impact of textile overconsumption

A big thank you to all of you for your help!

The money will be used for

  • Accompany candidates on an individual basis
  • Propose image coaching with the gift of suitable, quality professional attire
  • Propose HR coaching with HR interview simulation
  • Propose professional photo-taking to enhance
  • Awareness-raising for recruiters on non-discrimination
  • Awareness-raising for employees on the occasion of solidarity operations, professional integration and the fight against clothing waste

Why we love it?

La Cravate Solidaire intervenes at the last, but decisive, stage of the integration process. It's vital to remove the barriers to employment and pass on the codes to those furthest from the job market, so that they can apply on a truly equal footing!

I dream of a world where you don't prepare your job interview to avoid prejudice, but rather to showcase your skills and be proud of who you are.
