Starting in CM1, Le Sens de l'École helps students in priority education programs to change the way they look at school, enabling them to become fully involved in their schooling and society.

Solution
Le Sens de l'École offers 3 different workshop courses, for CM1-CM2-6e, in priority education. Their aim is to help children change their outlook on school and put meaning into their schooling, to enable them to take their full place at school and in the world.
Free of charge for schools, the courses consist of:
- 4 workshops of 1h30 led by Le Sens de l'École in team with the teacher;
- 4 sessions led by the teacher thanks to the teaching aids;
- an extension designed by the teacher to enable him/her to anchor the benefits of the program in his/her classroom for the long term.

Looking back at 2023-2024
Dear difteurs,
While the 2024-2025 school year has got off to a strong start for Le Sens de l'Ecole (already 250 classes in the planning stage), we're very happy to take this time of the autumn vacations to look back on the 2023-2024 year!
2023-2024 means...
- 6500 children benefiting from workshops,
- 292 classesof CM1-CM2-6e,
- 1752 hours of workshops run,
- 78 establishments in Réseaux d'Education Prioritaire,
- 3 académies, 7 départements and 25 towns in Ile-de-France.
All with record teacher satisfaction!
- 94% of teachers felt the program was an important part of their school curriculum
- 98% felt it was in line with their mission as teachers
- 98% were satisfied with the speaker
- 88% wanted to do it again this year

As we have every year for the past 4 years, we team up with teachers to help them encourage their pupils' school attachment:
🤔 readjust misperceptions about school and their abilities that stand in the way of their well-being and motivation
🤝 nurture a positive classroom climate, favorable to learning and the fulfillment of each pupil.

Each 55 euros raised goes to finance the organization of a course of workshops for 1 pupil in priority education.
- 3.3% is devoted to overheads
- 3.5% to educational materials
- 40% to training and remuneration of speakers
- 40% to training and remuneration of speakers
