InsertionSolidarity
The digitization of the economy has boosted employment in the digital sector. As a result, jobs in the digital sector are in high demand (800,000 positions are expected to be filled by 2025). Moreover, the digital divide is a factor of exclusion, all the more so for people in precarious or socially excluded situations. Vocational training is therefore an essential requirement.
However, many people (asylum seekers or those with residence permits) are excluded from traditional funding channels (Pôle Emploi, Region, CPF...) and cannot benefit from vocational training. These people are in a situation of serious exclusion.
Solution
This is why Label Emmaüs, through its endowment fund, has decided to set up a solidarity fund for training in digital professions to enable people excluded from mainstream public funding to acquire skills in this sector. In concrete terms, this fund will finance training for these people, covering the cost of training and related costs (catering, accommodation, mobility). Vocational training in the digital professions will be provided by partner training organizations capable of taking on a type of public in a situation of great exclusion, thanks to strong, personalized support.
Label Emmaüs is working to diversify profiles in the digital world, in order to make this professional sector accessible to people who are furthest away from it because it offers job opportunities. Beyond financing the scholarship, the association's role is to act as a link between training organizations and specialized associations, in order to guide and support beneficiaries as best possible towards training courses that correspond to their needs and professional projects.

Des Histoires d'Apprenants pour Noël - Ali, the story of a beautiful reconversion
Dear difteurs,
After 10 years devoted to commerce and administrative follow-up, Ali decided to leave this environment after an experience he describes as "traumatic". In the end, he wants to go back to school, but what should he do? How much does training cost?
He came across the e-commerce project manager course at Label Emmaüs' digital school! He applies and joins the class of 2024. He chose the school for its inclusive values, which really struck a chord with him: "the school offers everyone a chance to train and develop, whatever their background or experience". Within the school, he is developing a project for an e-commerce site that reflects his personality: "Les délices de Provence", a tribute to his native region to discover culinary treasures and local know-how. He wants to support the region's producers and shares values of quality and sustainability.
After school, Ali wants to become a Community Manager in a public institution. He wants to work on topics of general interest, strengthen the links between the institution and its audiences, and manage authentic, impactful communication on social networks. He also hopes to launch his own project, "Les délices de Provence", thanks to all the technical skills he acquired at the school. Through his journey, Ali shows that a reconversion is possible and that willpower is essential for success!
Thank you for your support, which enables us to welcome Ali and his entire graduating class at no cost to them ✨
Christmas Learner Stories - Samia, from Emmaus companion to project leader learner
Dear difteurs,
Learners are at the heart of this inclusive school project. We support them throughout their training so that they can reveal themselves and become the talents of tomorrow. Everyone has a different story, path and project, and we've decided to present 3 learner stories to you during the month of December.
Samia's story 🌟
Originally, Samia was a Compagne at Emmaüs Lyon since 2020 where she was in charge of online sales on Label Emmaüs.
Despite being highly motivated, Samia felt that it wasn't the right time to do this training 400km from home and so decided to put it off.
In 2023, Samia finally decided to enroll and moved to the Paris region for 6 months. To help her with her training, Samia benefits from one of our accommodations so she can concentrate fully on her project.
During her training, Samia was able to work on her e-commerce site project: a site offering storage accessories for small spaces. She presented her project to the jury and graduated with flying colors!
She decided to return to the community to help out with her new skills. But Samia hasn't forgotten what drives her, and plans to join a master's program soon.
"There's no reason why women shouldn't be able to make their mark in the digital sector too!" - Samia.
A big thank you to you, dear difters, for your invaluable support and difts!
The money will be used for
Thanks to you, Label Emmaüs will accompany beneficiaries on their training journey and finance the costs of training, accommodation, transport and catering. The funds raised will also be used to support the implementation of the project, including engineering costs.
Thanks to your difts
