Protecting the oceans from plastic pollution

The project
OceanZero waste
The ocean is extremely threatened by plastic pollution:nearly 10 million tons of waste are dumped there every year, destroying marine life.
The Mediterranean Sea is sick. Virtually closed, it has become one of the most plastic-polluted seas in the world. Bordered by numerous countries and fed by rivers, it takes in our waste carried by the rivers, symbols of our overproductive consumer society. Every year, some 230,000 tonnes of waste end up there, and today it accumulates over a million tonnes of plastic.

Use of the money
Your donation helps the French association Wings of the Ocean to deploy all its missions in the Atlantic and Mediterranean every year.
It enables us to receive, feed, house and train over 200 volunteers a year who take concrete action on French coasts and rivers.
They contribute directly to the running of our territorial missions and Kraken.
You're helping to protect the Ocean from the waste that invades it every day.

Why we love it?
Support this second Wings of the Ocean project, which reminds us that clean-up and waste awareness begin on our own shores!
"I had an incredible experience on the Kraken. It's really a major event in my life, which has had a profound effect on me. I grew a lot personally during my time on board."
