Professional integration through sport
An Olympic Festival for all Sport dans la Ville youngsters
Dear Captains,
As part of its commitment to the Paris 2024 Legacy project, Sport dans la Ville has defined 5 priority objectives:
- Create and develop 50 new sports centers
- Celebrate and showcase the Games in neighborhoods
- Increase awareness of volunteer missions and Paris 2024 professions
- Create a Campus in Île-de-France, dedicated to employment and entrepreneurship
- Organize an exceptional event: the FESTIVAL 24
As part of this, 500 young people from all over the world were welcomed to France from July 19 to 28 for Festival 24.
The Olympic Games 2024 were synonymous with dreams and joy, for young people. Sport dans la Ville therefore organized Olympiads in Lyon and Paris, bringing together teenagers aged 15 to 17 from 64 delegations from all over the world.
An unforgettable personal and collective experience based on the values of Olympism and Paralympism.
Sport dans la Ville youngsters carry the Olympic flame!
The flame arrived in Marseille on May 8 aboard the majestic Belem!
Two young people followed by Sport dans la Ville then had the chance to cross the city of Marseille carrying the Olympic flame, and then attend a concert by Soprano and Alonzo (along with several other young people invited by our partner Coca Cola).
A memorable moment that Manel and Tanguy will remember for a long time, we wanted to share some beautiful images and their feelings:
"It was unforgettable a very good time! What's more, it was very well organized and there was an incredible security perimeter.
I had tears in my eyes when I saw my daughter Manel go by with the torch.
And I accompanied her the whole time, it was really great.

Bringing the flame to your town with the whole town coming out for us, it's something though.

Young people from Grenoble meet the people of Marseilles
"Passe décisive" is Sport dans la ville's nationwide program to help young people who have missed out on training and employment. Committed teams accompany these young people on a daily basis, and links are forged between towns. For example, the young people in Grenoble came to meet their Mediterranean counterparts.
The program included a sports session, a mobility workshop and a visit to the Société des Eaux de Marseille. All of these activities helped to forge links and address key issues relating to professional integration.

A hiking experience for young people enrolled in the Decisive Pass program
6 young people from the new Passe Décisive promotion went on a three-day hike in Marseille's calanques with guides from the association.
Objectives: to get the young people out of their neighborhoods, out of their comfort zones and learn to fend for themselves in the middle of nature using simple bivouac methods.
At the end of the stay, the young people were presented with an aptitude diploma by the Sport dans la Ville teams, and came away from the experience with stars in their eyes!
Thank you to the donors enabling us to carry out all these actions for young people!

A new class of young people supported in Marseille, from sport to employment

As part of the "gas pedal" course, set up by Sport dans la Ville, 10 young Marseillais with difficult backgrounds were able to benefit from accelerated support over 10 weeks to regain their self-confidence and lead to training or employment 🙌✨
10 extremely dynamic weeks mixing sports activities, various workshops, inspiring encounters, learning of all kinds! 🚀
A short but intense accompaniment that ended this morning with the presentation of a precious certificate honoring their commitment and tenacity 💪🏻
"I've made some unforgettable encounters, you're like a family"
It's moments like these that remind us of the importance of getting involved for these nuggets who are still unaware of themselves! ❤
