Telemaque's impact on the young people we support

Dear Difteur-ses,

🔎 What happens when a young person from a modest background...
... is supported in his academic success?
... can express his doubts about his future to a benevolent mentor?
... discovers trades in concrete terms thanks to visits to companies?
... and benefits from this support for 5 to 6 years?
⁉️ What impact does this have on his or her confidence, orientation and ability to make informed choices?

📊 Our new impact study by KOREIS, Conseil & Recherche en impact social provides us with some answers:

✅ 94% of our godchildren project themselves in a higher education pathway, vs. 80% of good 15-year-old students from disadvantaged backgrounds in France (INSEE 2020).
✅Our godchildren make more ambitious higher education wishes than those entered on Parcoursup at national level (in 2023) :
25% want to go into medicine (vs. 8%)
14% are aiming for an engineering school (vs. 6%)
10% a business school (vs. 3%)
14% a preparatory class (vs. 9%)

✅ 94% of our alumni say they are satisfied with their orientation, vs. 72% of a representative panel of all young French people aged 18-24.

Thank you so much for your support. Thanks to you, almost 2,000 hours of tutoring have been financed!

Young Telemachus at the heart of the Olympic Flame festivities update

Young Telemachus at the heart of the Olympic Flame festivities

Wednesday May 8, 15 godchildren and 11 mentors took part in the nautical parade celebrating the arrival of the Olympic flame aboard the Belem.
The participation of our godchildren and mentors in today's celebration of the Olympic spirit testifies to thevalues of sharing, fraternity and optimism that unite us.
Yassmina, Télémaque godchild, shares her enthusiasm: "It was perfect, the Belem, the ride to join it. I learned a lot thanks to this day. It's the second time I've been able to go on a boat thanks to Télémaque. The association gives me a lot on a social level. We're surrounded by people who help us with our projects and at school."
Isabelle Mauriès, PACA regional manager, enthusiastically shares, "To favor the socio-cultural openness of our godchildren and offer them unique experiences, we make the most of the opportunity to collaborate with key City partners such as the Société Nautique de Marseille and the Comité Unicef Alpes Provence, both of whom we would like to thank warmly. This May 8 parade, a once-in-a-lifetime moment, will once again foster encounters and build bridges."
Congratulations to all the participants for this memorable experience, and a big thank you to everyone who contributes to our mission of realizing the potential of young people. Together, we're shaping the future!

Align customer loyalty and solidarity.
