👨‍❤️‍👩 A pair of new mentors launching their first duets three days apart!

Stéphanie and Vincent met us through the Vendée Globe, both unexpectedly looking for work, they motivated each other to take on this mentoring challenge. 🤜🤛

Their motivations? To give meaning to this period of job search, to feel useful by passing on their professional skills and knowledge of job search techniques to a young person in need

They completed the mandatory training given to mentors in January, and in early February, they signed up for their first duo 💫

A superb duo that ends with a great success: Meredith and Abdulvahap

Abdulvahap has managed to leave his informal job working nights in the construction industry to land a 3-year contract as an AESH (Accompagnateur d'Élèves en Situation de Handicap). In the longer term, the goal is to pass his CAPES and become a maths teacher (which is what his studies in Turkey have destined him for)!

An incredible duo with Meredith, who supported and motivated him enormously... An exceptional mentor ✨

Hello Captains,
Today, we're sharing the achievements of a 100% female Parisian duo, that of Thiama and Angélique!!
Thiama has secured an internship with Maison Alaïa enabling her to validate her master's degree. 🙌
This internship enabled her to acquire skills in French and international press strategy in the luxury ready-to-wear sector. 👈
💫 With a sector with high standards, Angélique, her mentor worked with Thiama on structuring her interview speech to be convincing and secure the internship of her dreams!

Hello Captains,
Today, we're sharing the story of a fabulous Lille duo, that of Mamadou Chérif and his mentor Eda!
Mamadou Chérif arrived at DUO for a JOB with a dream: to become a fashion designer.
Once on the job market in France, Mamadou Chérif was lost and didn't know how to go about landing a job. Add to that his administrative and housing issues, he needed someone to support him. It was his mentor Eda who was able to guide him through the trials and tribulations he encountered, and comfort him when his motivation left him."It's nice not to feel abandoned in moments of doubt and despair! Eda was able to remobilize me and give me confidence. I had full support and I know I could call her and share my questions."
Thanks to their joint work, Mamadou Chérif landed a 2-year fixed-term contract as a dressmaker at Confectio: his dream job! There, he sews bags and tents and feels fulfilled. He and Eda have created a very close relationship and will continue to see each other regularly.
