HealthSensibilization
Tomorrow, 1 in 3 women will be faced with cancer, and today 20% are not working again 5 years after diagnosis (source: INCa). Through art therapy and the link with horses, HOPE offers women affected by cancer, at all stages and in all forms of the disease, a unique space for physical, emotional and social reconstruction, as a complement to medical care. Indirectly, HOPE supports relatives, caregivers and employers, with a concrete response to a major public health issue.

The bond with the horse soothes, reconnecting to the body and emotions. The animal accompanies without judgment. Artistic expression (painting, singing, dancing) backed by the horse, reinforces reconstruction. Our scientifically-validated protocols enable participants to exchange ideas with other women, without taboos, at all stages and in all forms of the disease, in parallel with medical treatments, and to find a listening ear from our professional supervisors, and our president, an oncologist.

"There's a before and an after to HOPE", is what our participants tell us. My connection with horses and art has carried me through my illness. With HOPE for the past 8 years, we want to pass on this strength to all the women we support, at every stage of their journey.
