Support for women suffering from burnout
✨ A look back at a weekend of solidarity and sport for Pink October ✨
Dear difteurs,
For pink October, Anne-Sophie and Fleur energetically mobilized for the fight against breast cancer as part of the defi_delles.
This inspiring challenge raised awareness of this disease, which affects almost one in 8 women in their lifetime, with 61,214 new cases estimated in 2023. Breast cancer remains, sadly, the leading cause of cancer death in women.
But what exactly was the Défi d'Elles?
For 3 days, from October 18 to 20, 2024, participants took on an incredible sporting challenge in the magnificent landscapes of Seignosse and Soorts-Hossegor.
Part of the funds raised will be donated to the Jeune et Rose association, which works to prevent breast cancer around 3 key projects:
👉 Les Tétonnantes: uniting young patients affected by the disease.
👉 Alerte Rose: raising awareness among healthcare professionals.
👉 Télététon: conducting innovative prevention initiatives for women and young girls.
The participants covered 45 km in 3 days in an atmosphere that was 100% challenge, 100% solidarity and 100% whaou!

🚴♀️ 20 km Mountain Bike
🧘♂️ Wellness workshops: yoga, surfing and more.
It was a weekend filled with solidarity and exceeding of self for a cause close to our hearts.

We're coming to the end of a wonderful adventure with our BIBs from the 2023/2024 class. This new edition of the BURN'ette is back program has been marked by resilience, confidence, joy, gratitude, friendship, sharing, sisterhood, caring, and deep emotions. 🌿
This year, we were lucky enough to accompany two promotions: 🌸 Les Girondines who followed the program face-to-face at the Maison des BURN'ettes.
🌸 Les non Girondines who were able to enjoy the program remotely.
With weekly workshops, individualized coaching, and precious moments of exchange, each BURN'ette was able to rebuild her professional and personal path, surrounded by support and love.
Bravo to all these courageous women who took up the challenge of professional remobilization after a burn-out. We are infinitely proud of your journey! 💪✨

Season finale at the BURN'ettes!
💛 On Thursday June 27, we had the pleasure of organizing a professional remobilization day at the Maison des BURN'ettes.
This event offered our BURN'ettes the opportunity to (re)put themselves into action and (re)project themselves professionally towards a smooth return to employment. It was also an opportunity to close our "BURN'ette is Back" program.
👌 Challenge met for our BURN'ettes! Some took part in job dating games in an effort to include people who have experienced burnout, while others met with companies committed to working alongside us to discover what goes on behind the scenes in entrepreneurship. Still others had the opportunity to meet our partners and players in professional integration to gather information and sound advice to restart their professional future or personal journey.
🙏 We would like to thank all our players and partners infinitely for their presence and support at this season's closing.
🙌 A big thank you for their support and participation this year: the ROTARY CLUB Montesquieu. Thanks also to our coaches, psychologists and speakers.
😎 The icing on the cake, we extended the evening with jazzy tunes to celebrate the 5 years of our association: 5 years of mutual support, meetings, sharing, challenges and progress.
💟 Thanks to all our BURN'ettes and peer-helpers for their presence. We felt great emotion and deep gratitude throughout the day. Beautiful energies filled the hearts of our salaried team!

La Nuit des Relais in Bordeaux: L'BURN x La Fondation des femmes
👟 We laced up our sneakers again for another Nuit des Relais!
📆 On June 4, 2024 in Bordeaux's Place Pey-Berland, L'BURN joined forces with the Fondation des Femmes and many other associations for the Nuit des Relais, a festive, sporting and supportive event for women's rights.
✨ The concept: Team members take turns every 8 minutes, each at their own pace, on a course for an entire night (or almost). An evening that gets the whole company moving to collect donations then donated to associations (like us) working for gender equality and against violence against women.
✨ As you know, our association supports women victims of burnout and fights against sexist and sexual violence in the workplace, as well as its impact on mental health.
This year's Nuit des Relais raised €60,000 for associations in the Gironde!"
Les BURN'ettes took the prize for best atmosphere! Because the L'BURN team is all about fun and good humor every day. A moment of relaxation during an event, without forgetting the cause and message for which we fight every day. We were able to demonstrate with humor but realism what life can be like for a woman in burnout.

😊 It was an honor to be able to welcome President François Hollande to the Maison des BURN'ettes. We will remember his attentiveness, his empathy and his commitment to the issue of mental health and, more specifically, burnout.
We were able to share with him the problems we encounter in terms of diagnosis, care, imputability, and insertion but also insist on the prevalence of burnout among women.
It was also an opportunity to present the solutions we are implementing, our concrete proposals for the recognition of burnout, our social impact and our development prospects in the face of ever-increasing demand.
Our BURN'ettes had the opportunity to exchange views with François Hollande, sharing their stories and developments thanks to our association. Feeling heard and understood was the heart of the day.
