Created in 2017, the Compagnonnage program is a practical, immersive and itinerant agricultural training program on the farms of the Fermes d'Avenir network. The program responds to the urgent need to renew agricultural generations, disseminates agro-ecological practices and also enables the socio-professional integration of refugee people, thus contributing to the advent of agriculture that is sustainable for the planet, resilient and inclusive!

Solution

Created in 2017, the Compagnonnage program is a practical, itinerant agricultural training program on the farms in our network. For 7 months, Companions are confronted with different agro-ecological practices, complete their learning with expert interventions, and fine-tune their installation project. At the end of the training, they have all the keys they need to get started! Several courses are available: Maraîchage, PPAM, Passerelle(dedicated to refugees) and Pépinière.

Use of the money

Financial support will be allocated to the program's key actions: grouping sessions (venue rental, catering and remuneration of external speakers) and compensation for farms hosting and training journeymen. It will also fund the program's strategic development actions (program certification, regionalization of courses in new regions and creation of new courses).
It is essential to train the next generation of farmers and install them on agro-ecological farms.
