The Captain Cause Fund was created in April 2022 at the Paris Prefecture in order, among other things, to receive, control, and automatically redistribute donations pledged during patronage operations carried out on Dift by patron companies, on behalf of and for the account of the platform's beneficiary associations as well as for its own account.
On the occasion of participatory patronage operations in an innovative format, the companies' stakeholders choose the associations funded by the patron company. Donations are then collected by the Captain Cause Fund and automatically redistributed to the beneficiary associations, in respect of the choices made by the participants in the operation.
This new operating method makes it possible to multiply the volume of donations made to associations and their impact on the social, environmental, and health actions funded.
