Restored reefs, committed communities: a look back at our mission in Kenya

Coral Guardian
Dear donors,
This month, part of our Coral Guardian team spent two weeks in Kenya, carrying out an audit of the project and being at the heart of our action.
On the program: meetings with trainees, work with our partner Oceans Alive, coral transplantation, scientific monitoring, awareness-raising in schools, and exchanges with key restoration players in the region.
The coral structures already restored are showing very encouraging results, with corals in good condition and harboring a biodiversity that is already well established, healthy and dynamic. Coral transplant operations have been carried out on the Shimo La Pili and Madowani sites, with all trainees cleaning the coral structures, caring for the corals in the nurseries and transplanting the corals. In total, since the project began in 2024, 3,814 corals have been transplanted, representing 47 ha of marine protected area, and 22 nurseries have been set up. These are also 20 trainees who have been trained over the long term to become ambassadors for coral restoration in their communities.
👉 Beyond reefs, this project creates sustainable opportunities.
Thank you for making this possible 💙
Two new openings for Fratries

Fratries
Cher.ères Difteur.ses,
Since last time, the Fratries team hasn't wasted a minute. And for good reason: not one, but two inaugurations have taken place since the start of the year!
We are very proud to announce the opening of two new Fratries shared apartments: one in Bourg-la-Reine (92), and the other in the heart of Paris, rue Blomet.
These inaugurations were an opportunity to bring together the whole beautiful ecosystem that revolves around Fratries: the flatmates, their caregivers, the teams, the partners, the press... and even Camille Galliard-Minier, Minister Delegate in charge of Autonomy and People with Disabilities, who came to attend the Parisian inauguration.
In short: new shared apartments to help even more young people with disabilities find and keep jobs, thanks to your contributions.
A big thank you to you, and see you in three months!

Ma Petite Planète kicks off the new year with a bang!

Ma Petite Planète
Hello, difteurs!
A busy start to the new year? Let this good news from MPP boost your spirits!
This Monday, March 9, we launch our 14ᵉ school edition!
We're expecting over 100,000 students and teachers for this edition!
This winter, Ma Petite Planète Scolaire launched its "Petit Tour de France des établissements scolaires" with two initial stops in Bordeaux and then Nantes. Objective: to meet educational teams to better support them and understand their needs.
In Bordeaux and Nantes: talking ecology with the field
In February, Marion and Léna were in the Bordeaux region to meet teachers, run classroom workshops and chat with people involved in the area! 💪
All in all, they made 331 students aware of ecological issues, exchanged with 60 teachers and ate a number of cannelés (they don't dare say how many...).
A big thank you to those who came to the afterwork, the rest of the MPP team were jealous not to be part of it!
In Nantes, Chelsea and Sophie Lou met 230 students, 3 school principals and around 30 teachers from 6 schools.
Don't miss the recap videos on our social networks!
Have a good time between now and the next newsletter,
The MPP team

Wings of the Ocean
Hello everyone,
I'm sharing some news on the preparation of our 2026 missions which will be launched in less than two months!

🐟 Côté Loire Atlantique, Claire launches our new territory between study of the Loire and coastal mission.
The first mobilizations will take place very soon: antenna meeting and team training, mobilization around municipal elections, coffee-conference and already 3 waste collections planned!
🪸 In the PACA region, we're taking part in two working groups: a pond committee on the subject of industrial plastic granule pollution aimed at pooling knowledge and coordinating a territorial strategy + an inter-associative group led by Zero Waste Marseille.
🐚 In Nouvelle Aquitaine: On the Arcachon basin, lots of fieldwork with Fanny: a big post-storm citizen mobilization (France Bleu link) last weekend with two collections carried out, on the basin side and the ocean side + a collection campaign will be launched next week as part of a scientific follow-up on 6 areas identified in partnership with the Marine Park. A lot of garbage collected following the floods...
⛵ In parallel, le Kraken will set sail for Spain for a shipyard to prepare for a new season of Mediterranean calls!

Focus on caregivers!

L'ENVOL
Dear Difters,
When a child falls ill, the whole family is mobilized. Parents, brothers and sisters become aidants, taking on the day-to-day care, medical appointments and management of family life. An indispensable but often invisible commitment, which can lead to isolation, fatigue and emotional exhaustion. In France, nearly 11 million people are considered caregivers.

An indispensable but often invisible commitment, which can lead to isolation, fatigue and emotional exhaustion. In France, nearly 11 million people are considered caregivers.
Faced with these challenges, supporting caregivers is essential to preserve the balance of the whole family. That's why L'ENVOL has been developing programs specifically designed for them for several years: family stays, sibling stays or brothers & sisters stays. These moments enable families to break out of isolation, exchange with others facing the same realities, and find time to breathe again. for minor caregivers, it's an opportunity to take advantage of programs designed especially for them and to regain their place as children, challenged by their loved one's illness.
In 2025, thanks to the commitment of our partners, eight dedicated stays for caregivers have been organized, enabling nearly 170 parents and siblings to experience a genuine interlude away from everyday medical life. These experiences offer moments of sharing, relaxation and reconstruction, essential for strengthening family resilience. By accompanying caregivers, L'ENVOL also helps to support children and offer them the best conditions to move forward in the face of illness!
Thank you for your support, which makes it all possible!
